The Gene Therapy Accelerator - From Research Translation to Market-Ready Gene Therapies is a high-impact, four-week program designed to do exactly that.

 

Developed under the European GeneH project, this initiative supports research teams, startups, and clinical innovators in transforming promising ideas into viable therapeutic solutions - combining expert training, tailored mentoring, and direct access to a top-tier European innovation ecosystem.

 


Venue: IPN - Instituto Pedro Nunes, Coimbra (Portugal)

 

Format: Four consecutive Wednesdays (approx. 8h/week) + Demo Day

 

Program Highlights:

- Week 1 (22 April): Innovation pathways - from research to application
- Week 2 (29 April): Regulation, product development & funding
- Week 3 (6 May): Business strategy & entrepreneurship
- Week 4 (13 May): Pitch preparation
- Final Session: Demo Day (pitch competition)
