Aim
• Understanding of the basic scientific concepts behind the drug development process and the stages behind it;
• Ability to recognize the clinical development and clinical trials as an important part of the process;
• Understanding the role of regulatory institutions and agencies in the implementation of the drug development process and its legal issues;
• Understand the importance and impact of drug delivery on drug development;
• General understanding of drug manufacturing processes in an industrial environment and applied to the development of a potential new drug.
