PhDoing

PhDoing is a scientific meeting organized by PhD students from the Institute of Clinical and Biomedical Research of Coimbra (iCBR) and the PhD Programme in Health Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra (FMUC). Open to the whole community, this meeting is the stage for sharing scientific projects in two types of presentation, 3 or 10 minutes long, on the research carried out by doctoral students from the iCBR and FMUC.

Research at iCBR/FMUC seeks to bridge the gap between basic science and clinical science, allowing scientific questions to be addressed from the molecule to the human being. PhDoing therefore aims to give students at various stages of their doctorates, in different but complementary areas, the opportunity to share their ideas, their results and receive comments and suggestions, promoting a stimulating environment of sharing and unity, which will allow new collaborations to be strengthened and formed.

Designed and organized in such a way as to promote a translational environment, this event also features lectures by renowned scientists, inspiring sessions and one or two surprises.
