Applications are now open for four FENS/IBRO-PERC stipends, each worth 500 euros, to support participation in the PDBEB/idpIN course Synapse Assembly, Function and Plasticity, taking place from November 2–6, 2026.
The stipends are available to Master’s and PhD students currently studying in Europe and aim to promote mobility and advanced training opportunities for young researchers in neuroscience.
The course will bring together students and researchers for advanced training on synaptic mechanisms, combining theoretical lectures with a strong hands-on component based on experimental projects.
Please note that students currently residing or studying in Portugal are not eligible for these stipends. Applications are open until July 31, 2026, at 23:59 (Brussels time), through the following form.
Further information about the course program and experimental projects is available here.
