Overview
The Healthcare Challenges is an emergent CiBB thematic line that studies and triggers action on some of the most complex health issues of today. Improving health and well-being for all, UN’s 3rd Sustainable Development Goal, requires a visionary approach to tackle major challenges for healthcare globally. Health systems are required to make the most of the ageing demographic shift and alleviate the suffering associated with noncommunicable diseases that are top killers with huge societal impact. Science must do better to measure health and inform healthcare, fostered by international and interdisciplinary collaboration.
